[188 x 111 x 21 mm]. ff, 88, 73-80, 97-226,  pp. Bound c.1720 in black goatskin, the covers tooled in gilt with a double fillet border, an outer panel of a fillet and dog-tooth with floral tools at the outer corners and centre of each side, mitred to an inner panel of a solid and broken fillet and floral roll. The spine divided into six panels with gilt compartments, lettered in the second, the others with a lozenge-shaped centre and small volutes, the edges of the boards and turn-ins tooled with a gilt roll, marbled endleaves. (Spine a little faded, scratch and small patch of insect activity on lower cover).

The third of three issues dated 1678, it can be considered as the Second Edition. The additional engraved title is, however, from Madan's second issue, with the word "or" above the "rig" in "birthright". Light damp-stain at the foot of the opening leaves.
