About our boxes and slipcases

From fragile manuscripts to modern first editions, our cases provide an ideal way to protect books and papers. All of our cases are made by hand, using goatskin (morocco) or calf leather and the finest quality book cloth. They can be lined with marbled paper, suede, or felt.

SLIPCASE

A slipcase is an open-fronted box that leaves the spine of the book visible. A slipcase can be lined with marbled paper, suede or felt and a ribbon is attached inside to ease the removal of the book.
