First Edition. 4to. [264 x 206 x 10 mm]. [2]ff, iii, [i ], 23 pp. Bound in contemporary blue goatskin, the covers with a gilt fillet border, smooth spine lettered in manuscript on a thin paper label, the edges of the boards tooled with a gilt roll, marbled endleaves, gilt edges.

With the half-title. There are a number of contemporary manuscript corrections. A fine copy.

Prince William Henry, first Duke of Gloucester and Edinburgh (1743-1805) was the fifth child and third son of Frederick Lewis, Prince of Wales (1707-1751) and younger brother of George III. He was Chancellor of Trinity College Dublin 1771-1805.
