[2]ff, vi, [i], 8-182 pp. Early 19th century French (?) binding of straight-grained citron goatskin, the covers with a gilt border composed of three fillets and a floral roll and a blind panel composed of three fillets and a crested roll with a palmette ornament in the corners. The spine divided into six panels with gilt tooled bands, lettered in the second on a red goatskin label, the others with a fern-like centre tool, the edges of the boards and turn-ins tooled with gilt rolls, marbled endleaves, gilt edges. (A few darker spots on the front cover).
