Nov. 27. 1847". William Pickering married Mary Ann Gubbins (1796-1849) in 1819 and they had three daughters and a son. With the Pickering "Aldine" bookplate. Bought from Pickering & Chatto in 1993 (for $300, plus the cost of the box).
